Right to Refuse Service

Maid Up Now reserves the right to decline or cancel a cleaning appointment if the condition of the residence or office is not clearly and accurately communicated in advance. This includes, but is not limited to, excessive clutter, unsafe environments, biohazards, pest infestations, or any situation deemed hazardous to our team’s health and/or safety.

Pet Waste Policy

Our team does not clean up animal feces or litter boxes. Any areas containing pet waste will be skipped until the waste has been properly removed by the client. This is for the safety and hygiene of our cleaning staff and to comply with state sanitation guidelines.

Pre-Clean Photo Requirement

Clients are required to submit clear, current photos of the area(s) to be cleaned prior to the scheduled appointment. This allows Maid Up Now to allocate appropriate time, staff, and resources for each job.

Client Punctuality and Access

Our cleaners will wait up to 15 minutes upon arrival at your scheduled time. If access to the property is not granted within this window, the team reserves the right to leave, and a cancellation or lockout fee may apply. Please ensure access codes or keys are provided in advance if you cannot be present.

Payment Details Requirement

Your payment method must be properly set up and confirmed before your scheduled cleaning date. Failure to complete payment setup may result in cancellation of your appointment.

Adding Extra Services

Any requests for additional services must be submitted through Maid Up Now administration. Our cleaners are not authorized to perform or add additional services on-site without prior approval. Additional charges will apply for all approved add-ons.

Overtime Charges

If your cleaning requires additional time beyond the originally scheduled duration, you will be billed for the extra time at our standard hourly rate. We strive to remain within the estimated time frame; however, overtime may be necessary depending on the condition of the space.

Scope of Work

Please review your selected cleaning package carefully. Only the services explicitly listed in your chosen package will be performed. Any tasks outside the defined scope will be considered additional services and subject to extra fees.

Compliance with Florida Business Regulations

Maid Up Now operates in accordance with the Florida Department of State Division of Corporations (Sunbiz) registration requirements and maintains all applicable local business tax receipts and occupational licenses as required under Florida Statutes Chapter 205.

We follow all Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR) and Florida Department of Health standards regarding sanitation, safety, and ethical business practices. Our cleaning operations also comply with Florida Administrative Code Rule 64E, which governs hygiene and sanitation procedures for service providers.

All company policies align with federal and state employment laws, labor standards, and consumer protection laws as defined by the Florida Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act (FDUTPA).

Florida Cleaning Service Regulations

Maid Up Now adheres to all relevant local and federal health and safety standards, including the Florida Clean Indoor Air Act and OSHA Hazard Communication Standards (29 CFR 1910.1200).

Our staff members are trained in safe chemical handling, equipment usage, and cleaning protocols consistent with EPA and OSHA guidelines. We use only approved cleaning products that meet both EPA Safer Choice and Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) standards.

Please note:

• Maid Up Now does not provide mold remediation, biohazard cleanup, or hazardous material removal services.

• Such services require state-certified remediation professionals under Florida law.

• We comply with all chemical labeling and safety data sheet (SDS) requirements.

Business Insurance and Liability

Maid Up Now maintains active General Liability Insurance and Workers’ Compensation coverage as required under Florida Statutes Chapter 440.

This coverage protects both clients and our staff in the event of accidental property damage or injury during a service appointment. Proof of insurance is available upon request.

While every precaution is taken to ensure high-quality service, Maid Up Now’s liability is limited to the extent covered by our insurance policies and Florida law. We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, improper maintenance of surfaces, or defects in client property that may be affected during normal cleaning processes.

Health, Safety, and Environmental Standards

Our cleaning products and methods are selected to ensure minimal environmental impact while maintaining effective sanitization. We comply with all EPA, OSHA, and Florida Department of Environmental Protection guidelines regarding chemical use and disposal.

All staff are trained in proper use of PPE (personal protective equipment) and follow standardized disinfection procedures in line with the CDC’s Cleaning and Disinfection for Community Facilities Guidelines.
